The challenge
An existing carrier board and application stack had to move to a modern embedded Linux baseline while supporting multiple display and touch configurations.
Engineering approach
Crossware enabled the board on Torizon, integrated the display and touch controller through device-tree and kernel changes, and packaged the frontend and backend into managed containers. Hardware access, network discovery and runtime performance were considered as one product system.
